During severe drought conditions, the Maharashtra Government launched the Chara Chavani initiative to support farmers and their livestock. The program focuses on cultivating and distributing essential fodder and ensuring the well-being of livestock through Chara Chavani, a comprehensive digital platform developed by Shaurya Technosoft.

Challenges

1. Lack of transparency in livestock management and fodder allocation.

Solution  

Shaurya Technosoft introduced Chara Chavani, an end-to-end livestock management system featuring:

• Livestock Tagging: Unique barcoded ear tags for each animal.
• Farmer and Livestock Registration: Aadhar-based registration to ensure accurate records.
• Attendance Tracking: Two methods for daily livestock attendance, including precise tag scanning.
• Cloud-Based Monitoring: Centralized data storage for real-time access and analysis.
• Reporting and Alerts: Automated reports with alerts for irregularities to ensure compliance.
